Social Media Revolution

The speakers at the "Mini Blog Summit" Miss Grace Bondad Nicolas and Eyriche Crus were the most interesting speakers Ive encountered so far, one of the many things they talked about caught my eye mainly finding your passion, I do believe one of my many passions is blogging and the fact that these were professional bloggers talking oh so blissfully about their passions blogging. I believe blogging is very useful, you can reach out to many people of all ages behind your computer screen and it still has that emotional impact on them after reading your posts that I think is one of the main reasons I love blogging. The most quotable quote from the speakers was one of the many inspirational Steve Jobs quotes that happened to catch my eye the most it was "here's to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes, the ones who see things differently -- they're not fond of rules. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can't do is ignore them because they change things, they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do" - Steve Jobs, this was the quote which had the biggest impact on me because its true, it really is. I think my contribution as a Lasallian, to my club and more importantly my country would be to blog about the things which are me because the key to success I believe is to just be yourself because in all honesty thats the most important key to success and contribution to it.

bullying

ok so i never really understood why people bullied other people and how they still continue their bullying yet they know its wrong  but here are some of my thoughts on why bullies bully

  • they're insecure about themselves
  • they've been either verbally//physically abused
  • they were raised that way
  • they're jealous of you
on the other hand there are also ways to prevent bullying

  • talk things through with each other
  • tell your guidance counselor//parent on the situation
  • defend yourself+stand for what you believe in
so let me tell you something about bullying i myself have been bullied once and it has scarred me. i was bullied in the third grade for being "too fat, too tall" too this and too that so in short i've been bullied for being different, it isn't the best feeling knowing other people think that way about you but once i got older i realized that there isn't anything wrong with being different and why should i care what others think of me? i mean as long as i know it isn't true why should i believe those hurtful things they've said? heres the moral of my little story: never ever let the negative people+thoughts in your life, karma will come back at them because there is no need in revenge and also don't believe the bad critiques which only cause more insecurity and low self-esteem. its okay to be different God made us all different that's why each and every one of us is special and unique in their own little ways, no need to change for others own needs. only let the good in your life, don't hate appreciate.
